Each project is unique in its own way; Blooma was no different. For this video, Dicewalk created an animated overview of a commercial real estate platform. The purpose was to secure future funding from investors on the Blooma offering… and if we could help them secure clients, even better.

The Process
The specific set of challenges this video posed began in the research phase. Blooma operates in the world of commercial real estate lending. No one at Dicewalk had extensive experience in this realm. But one of the best things about video is that it gives you the chance to learn a little about a lot, in a very short amount of time. We spent a considerable amount of time getting familiar with the Blooma offering via meetings with Blooma’s staff and supporting documentation.
The second (and larger) obstacle to solve was: what to put on screen? Again, the easy route could be to stitch together some Shutterstock footage of a building, bank, and someone closing on a contract. But that doesn’t tell a great story - and we’re in the business of telling great stories.
We decided to use animation to play on “Bloom”- a growth, a new start. Using greenery was a thread that kept the video flowing. We also utilized transitions and movement to build on this flow and make the story seem seamless. And to highlight the product, we designed the computer interfaces displayed throughout the video.
The Result
Blooma used our work on their website and during investor pitches. They were able to secure several rounds of funding subsequent to engaging with Dicewalk.
